Monster Smoosh & GonzoBeans · Last updated 15 June 2026
The short version
Monster Smoosh is a single-player game. We don't run ads, we don't track you across the internet, and we don't sell anyone's data. The only personal information the game ever handles is the display name you type for the leaderboard.
What we collect, and why
Global leaderboard. If you submit a score, we store the display name you entered and your score on our hosted database (Supabase) so we can show a public top-10. Your name is your choice — you can enter a nickname or anything you like; please don't enter personal information you don't want shown publicly.
Settings. Your audio settings and entered name are saved locally on your own device so the game remembers them between sessions. These never leave your machine except as part of a score submission.
That's the whole list. We do not collect your email, real name, location, contacts, or any device identifiers. We have no accounts and no logins.
Where it's stored
Leaderboard entries are stored with Supabase, our database host. They process this data on our behalf. If you bought the game on Steam, Valve handles your purchase and account under Valve's own privacy policy — GonzoBeans never receives your payment details.
Children
Monster Smoosh is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the leaderboard only ever stores a self-chosen display name and a score.
Removing your data
Want a leaderboard entry removed? Email us with the display name and we'll delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
